Scotland’s Record Goal Scorer and Most Capped Player!!
Julie Fleeting MBE the greatest female footballer ever to represent Scotland has always had the desire to reach the pinnacle of Women’s Football trying her hardest and emerging victorious. "Ace in the Pack "
How can anyone argue with this proud Scotswoman’s amazing record as a “Champion” on and off the field of Scottish Women’s Football throughout a glorious career and track record of achievements and the leading “Ace In The Pack” for Arsenal Ladies?.
"Superstar Striker"
Modesty has always been at the heart and core of the “Superstar Strikers” thoughts, always working for the team, and whose outstanding career as Scotland’s captain sits at 107 goals gaining the amazing total of 109 caps.
Football has always been part of Julie’s life and she started the long road to international success playing and being coached by her dad Jim at the tender age of only six years old.
He was a former player with Norwich, Morton, Manager of Kilmarnock FC and is the current SFA Director of Football Development.
"Scoring Sensation"
The scoring sensation will always be grateful to her mum and dad and in her own words states “No matter where I go in life I owe my mum and dad extreme gratitude for giving up so much of their time in taking me to training and games showing great patience and diligence coaching me as a youngster”.
Very quickly she acknowledged that her footballing skills were highly evident and admits being swayed as a young teenager to being a self-described tomboy who would rather have played alongside boys.
